Factors That Influence Charitable Bequests.   Bequests are a “bread and butter” way of building endowment.  We will review IRS and other estate data that explores determinants of charitable bequests.  We will use this data and try to “get inside the head” of a typical planned giving donor.  Finally, we will discuss how to use this information to identify prospects and market planned gifts.
