For over 80 years Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington DC (PPMW) has provided high quality, compassionate healthcare to the Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland geographic area. The organization is committed to combatting health inequities through a wide range of services including primary/preventive care, birth control and vasectomies, breast exams and mammograms, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, screenings for cervical and other cancers, and abortions. PPMW provides high quality, culturally informed educational programs in schools, communities, and online throughout their service area. Additionally, PPMW has a strong public affairs and advocacy program promoting health equity for everyone. In 2022 over 21,500 patients received services at their three facilities.

Senior Vice President of Development and Strategic Relationships

Cosmosphere, Hutchinson, Kansas

Founded in 1962, the Cosmosphere International SciEd Center & Space Museum’s mission is to “Inspire the future through space exploration.” The Cosmosphere is home to the largest collection of U.S. space artifacts, second only to the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, and the largest collection of Russian space artifacts outside of Moscow. One of the first affiliates of the Smithsonian Institution, the Cosmosphere hosts over 100,000 visitors per year, including over 30,000 students through in-person and online resources. Entertainment venues at the Cosmosphere include the Hall of Space Museum, Carey Digital Dome Theater, Justice Planetarium, Dr. Goddard’s Lab, and CosmoKids, an interactive STEAM area. Recently, the organization completed the “Revitalization Campaign” for facility improvements, which has raised over $11 million since 2014, and renovations are in progress.

Delmarva Community Services, Inc., Cambridge, Maryland

Delmarva Community Services, Inc. is seeking a President/CEO to replace their longtime incumbent. Delmarva Community Services, Inc. (DCS) was established and incorporated in 1974 as the Dorchester Developmental Unit (DDU) to address the needs of adult individuals with disabilities. The program initially consisted of three staff providing day services to fifteen individuals. Today the organization has expanded and is an umbrella organization providing a variety of programs for the entire community. DCS is a multi-service, non-profit agency whose mission is to help people on the Delmarva Peninsula who wish to maintain dignity and an independent lifestyle within their community. Delmarva Community Services has a budget of 19 million, serves over 1,000 people, and has over 300 staff. 

The President/CEO serves as Chief Executive of Delmarva Community Services Inc. (DCS) and in partnership with the Board, is responsible for the success of DCS. The President/CEO ensures DCS relevance to the community, and champions the DCS mission and vision, defines the vision, charts the direction, and drives results of the organization.

Founded in 2011, Baltimore Harm Reduction Coalition is a community-based organization dedicated to mobilizing community members for the health, dignity, and safety of people targeted by the war on drugs and anti-sex worker policies. Advocating for harm reduction as part of a broader movement for social justice, BHRC implements public health services and advocates for policies to expand harm reduction in Baltimore and across the state of Maryland. BHRC has adopted an organizational structure that embraces a collaborative leadership model. In 2023, BHRC officially became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 

BHRC is seeking an Executive Director who is passionate about harm reduction, public health, and social justice. They are looking for someone who is innovative, dedicated, and passionate and can lead the organization forward in delivering its mission. There are approximately 476.6 million Indigenous Peoples in the world, belonging to 5,000 different groups, in 90 countries worldwide, living in every region of the world. Indigenous Peoples have experienced historic injustices as a result of, inter alia, their colonization and dispossession of their lands, territories and resources. 80 percent of the earth’s biodiversity is found on Indigenous lands. It is because of Indigenous Peoples' stewardship and relationship with the environment. However, governments in Indigenous Peoples’ homelands and multinational corporations too often violate Indigenous Peoples’ rights by operating in their territories without their Free, Prior and Informed Consent. Cultural Survival empowers and supports Indigenous Peoples to advocate for their rights. Cultural Survival believes that control by Indigenous Peoples over developments affecting them and their lands, territories and resources will enable them to maintain and strengthen their institutions, cultures and traditions, and to promote their development in accordance with their aspirations and needs.

The Executive Director of Cultural Survival is responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and growth of the organization. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors and staff to advance Cultural Survival’s mission and vision.

National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, Inc.  Clinton, Mississippi (Remote Position)

The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) is the only national association representing the professional interests of paramedics, advanced emergency medical technicians, emergency medical technicians, emergency medical responders and other professionals providing prehospital and out-of-hospital emergent, urgent or preventive medical care. NAEMT was formed in 1975 and is now over 90,000 members strong. The mission of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to represent and serve emergency medical technicians (EMTs), advanced EMTs, paramedics, and specialty paramedics, and support personnel through advocacy, education, and research. The association has an annual revenue budget of $3.9 million and is supported by a staff of 20, including independent contractors (all working remotely). A 15-member elected Board of Directors leads the association. 

The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the association, responsible for overseeing the finances, personnel, advocacy and education programs, and business development.

Youth Automotive Training Center, Deerfield Beach, Florida

The Youth Automotive Training Center (YATC) is a Deerfield Beach, Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of YATC is to train and educate at-risk youth in basic automotive repair skills, academic remediation, job readiness, and life management skills. YATC was founded in 1984 by Jim Moran, a legendary automotive executive in South Florida. Mr. Moran was fond of saying, “The future belongs to those who prepare for it.” The wrap-around support provided to participants ensures the greatest opportunity for success for those at-risk youth who enter into training. The agency has an annual operating budget of roughly $2M. All the costs of operating the Center are met through fundraising, which is conducted by the Board of Directors. Because of past and current fundraising success, YATC has developed reserves to support current and future programming. YATC students pay nothing to participate in the training.

The ideal candidate for the post has an automotive and training background, as well as experience in working with populations who require guidance/support. The Executive Director oversees all aspects of the development, implementation and management of the YATC program
